This Privacy Policy explains how ETF Correlate ("we", "us") handles information when you use this website ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we process
- No accounts. ETF Correlate requires no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email, or password.
- ETF queries. The fund codes and lookback period you choose are sent to our server, which fetches recent price data from a third-party market-data provider (Eastmoney) to compute the correlation. We do not store your queries after the request completes.
- Technical data. We process your IP address transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention. Standard server logs may temporarily record request metadata (time, path, approximate location) for security and reliability.
2. Market data
Price data is retrieved from a third-party public financial-data source to perform the calculation. The data is delayed and provided for informational and research purposes only; it may contain errors or gaps, and nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to keep the Service free.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
4. How we use information
- To fetch price data and compute the correlations you request.
- To prevent abuse and protect the Service (rate limiting, security).
- To display advertising that funds the free Service.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed by the infrastructure and advertising providers needed to operate the Service, including Cloudflare (hosting), Eastmoney (market data), and Google (advertising). Each operates under its own privacy policy.
6. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Your choices
You can decline non-essential cookies through your browser settings and the opt-out links above. Because we hold no account data, there is no profile to delete.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision.
